07-Jan-2006 22:04 - penguin.powersource.cx has been shutdown for a short while around 10.40 to upgrade the CPU from Duron 1GHz to Athlon 1GHz. After the change, on bootup it turned out one of the SCSI disks had died. This disk contained (amongst others) /var/log, which, when missing, keeps some daemons from starting up correctly. 30-Aug-2004 14:59 - tequila.powersource.cx suffered a partial disk failure leaving /home in problems which meant just about everything running stopped working. After a reboot, an emergency copy to another disk and another reboot, /home is now mounted on another disk, operation is back to normal. Downtime from 9:25 until 12:20. (More...)
